Many of our friends were able to have parties with their classes to celebrate Valentines Day. There were treats, stickers and hearts everywhere. Some of the mommies even got custom-designed jewelry! |

The elementary grades spent an afternoon at the McKenna Children’s Museum in downtown New Braunfels. We explored the parts of the human body, visited outer space, went riding in a kayak, dug for buried dinosaur bones, and floated boats down the river. Whew! We were all tired after that--kids and moms included.

Everyone gathered to welcome the holiday season. There were refreshments and lots of excitement. We enjoyed very entertaining performances of The Twelve Days of Christmas, Jingle Bells, and many more. Some of the spontaneous dancing was very entertaining in itself.

Ms. Guerrero’s preschool class has been studying rocks for the past couple of weeks and they made “pet rocks” that are being displayed in the front office. Everyone was very creative and imaginative in creating their own special pet. |

At the end of October, we rewarded our hard work by wearing our pajamas to school and watching movies in the gym. It was so neat to see everyone’s different pajama styles! |

The students, teachers and several parents spent a day at the South Texas Corn Maze in Hondo, TX. The maze was on a family-owned farm that had livestock, water pumps, a jumping area, and tractor and hayrides. The students had a great time finding the way through the maze using clues and numbered markers. It was a great way for the Kindergartners to practice Right and Left!

A great time was had by all at the 1st Annual i Cento Friends and Family Campout! Some of the activities included fishing, kayaking, hiking, as well as hot dogs and s’mores around the campfire. We raised over $550 for the non-profit organization which raises funds for i Cento School. |
